Please support our movement!
A core principle behind all "No Kings" events is a commitment to nonviolent action.
We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at our event. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to the event.

The history of Federal Women's Prison aka FCI Dublin is dark and shameful. It was closed in April 2024 following lawsuits, whistleblower reports and inspections that revealed rampant sexual violence, mold, asbestos and sewage leaks. All signs point to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) preparing to take over the prison to house immigrant detainees — despite toxic living conditions. Don't condition of the prison and how ICE treats people remind you dungeons? And it is the last thing we want in the Tri-Valley area. That is why we decided to add #NoDungeons.

We made and distributed nearly 1,400 orange armbands to help promote and galvanize the public movement in support of the Constitution, democracy, justice, and equality.
Orange is a symbol of life, love, and political courage. It is also used to honor victims of gun violence and to highlight situations where heightened awareness is needed, like caution signs or road construction. As such, orange seems like the ideal color to unite us!
Wearing these armbands daily will provide a way to expand our movement. We will be more visible more often, we will attract new people to join us, and we will encourage each other out in the community. So, please pick up an armband or make your own, and wear it proudly for democracy!
Take the Armband Challenge! Post a pic (or video) of you sporting your band around town, tell why YOU wear the band, and challenge your friends! #ResistInOrange #ArmBandTogether
First we thank the City of Dublin and Dublin Police Department for allowing us to express our freedom of speech and peaceful assembly to protest.
This event was brought to you by volunteers of Indivisible Tri-Valley with support of Eden Area Indivisible, Livermore Indivisible, Tri-Valley Democratic Club and FCI Dublin Coalition to stop ICE detention center in Dublin. Ours was one of over 2,000 events with more than 5 millions protesters held all over the globe.
We thank Livermore city council members Ben Barrientos, Evan Branning, Steven Dunbar and Kristine Wang, Pleasanton city council member Jeff Nibert, San Ramon city council members Richard Adler and Marisol Rubio, Livermore School Board member Christiaan VandenHeuvel, and San Ramon School Board member Laura Bratt for joining us. Jackson Berg, constituent service representative of CA14 Congressmember Eric Swalwell was present. We received a blessing from SD5 State Senator Jerry McNerney. Livermore City Mayor John Marchand, Livermore School Board member Deena Kaplanis and Pleasanton School Board member Charles Jones all sent their regrets not to be able to join. All local elected officials were invited on June 14.
We thank John K for his donation of sound system, our actors and actresses for their performance, speakers for their inspirational speeches, and peacekeepers of Indivisible Tri-Valley and Livermore Indivisible for serving as safety volunteers and giving up their right to protest.
Finally we mourn for those who lost their lives and their family. Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark, were killed in a politically motivated shooting over the weekend. State Senator John Hoffman and his wife Yvette were also shot—thankfully, they survived and are now recovering in the hospital. In Salt Lake City Arthur Folasa Ah Loo (who went by “Afa”) was a 39-year-old man with two young children showing up for democracy at a peaceful protest on Saturday. As we wait for additional information, we strongly encourage the Indivisible community to show up for his family by contributing to their GoFundMe.
They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, slashed our services, and threw out our senator Padilla out of the news conference. The corruption has gone too far. No thrones. No crowns. No kings. No Dungeons.
Take Blue Lane BART to the West Dublin/Pleasanton Station. The city hall is about a mile right onto Dublin Blvd. Walk or take 30R bus.

Thank you for joining our #NoKings of Defiance. We all have reasons why we attend these protests, and are emotional. However it is critical for us to stay non-violent. It means that you will bring best of you to our protests. It is not where you release your anger. We are here to stand united for democracy. Please help keep our event peaceful and joyful!
Maintain a peaceful presence
Do not engage with counter protesters/hecklers/agitators and/or move away from them
Stay grounded & open minded
Report disruptive behavior to peacekeepers in safety vests with name tags (They are trained and volunteering to keep us safe)
Follow the traffic rules
We are communicating with Dublin Police Department. The goal of peacekeepers and law enforcement is to keep all of us safe. In extreme situation if it is declared to be unlawful assembly, stay calm and follow the instructions to disassemble.
