Join the local Indivisible movement!
On January 20 at 2 pm people all over the nation walked out from their daily lives and joined the #FreeAmerica Walkout initiated by Women's March and their partners.
Indivisible Tri-Valley partnered with Eden Area Indivisible and Swing Left Tri-Valley, stood at the Peace Corner Castro Valley (Castro Valley Blvd/Redwood Rd) to show solidarity at 2 pm, and marched to the Rep Swalwell's district office at 3 pm. We thanked for his work, and urged him to keep fighting and protecting our communities. He was in a meeting and couldn't respond, but staff thanked us for showing up, promised to pass our messages, and took a photo to show him.
Thank you protesters young (high school students joined!) and old, peacekeepers and organizers to make this walkout 300 strong on Tuesday afternoon. Together we fight for #FreeAmerica.
On December 14 (Sun) we had a fun gathering with great food and enjoyed each other's company. Special thanks go to our gracious hosts Julie and Mike. Their home was filled with Holiday spirit! We collected coat donations for Wood Street Commons.
We have worked nonstop since we started, and our membership has grown to hundreds thanks to all of you! So why not to have a potluck and get to know each other socially? Please join us and bring your family and friends in this fun filled social event: Tri-Valley IndivisiGather!
Was it Pizza? We had younger members showed up in this event.
Organizer's Bingo was a hit. We will have another one in December for end of the year!
