2026: A Year of Midterm Elections
Indivisibles' vision is a democracy that delivers for everyone—not just the wealthy or well-connected. We are committed to nonviolent action, multiracial democracy, and a government that is accountable to the people it serves.
In 2026 we work to protect and win elections—defending against election deniers in swing states and turning all that national backlash into an electoral majority coalition that delivers big wins in 2026.
In Swing States and districts, Indivisibles will support Democratic candidates.
In Blue States and districts, Indivisible National launched the largest Primary Endorsement Program. We fight for a Democratic Party that'll actually fight for us.

While CA-14 is not a swing district, Dr Wahab was endorsed by Indivisible National, and our district is one of the Indivisible National's target districts.
Knock Doors: If you live in the CA-14, sign up for Neighbor 2 Neighbor program, and talk to your neighbors. It is easy to talk to your progressive neighbors and very effective.
2. Make Calls: In the General Election Kickoff Call (recording and slides), the National urged everybody to join at least three phone banks for Indivisible's swing states/districts candidates. You can find phone banks here.
3. Protect the vote: Join Indivisible’s election protection program to get updates on ways you can fight Trump’s efforts to sabotage the midterms. Together, we’ll make sure every eligible voter is able to cast a ballot and that every vote is counted. Sign Up

CA-14 is a blue district and we have an opportunity to elect pro-democracy Democrat with fire in their bellies and steel in their spines, a candidate willing and able to fight like our nation's future depends on it – because it literally does. To find the candidate we created a process for endorsement and joined CA-14 District Council to avoid duplicated effort:
Research candidates.
Ask candidates to answer questions.
Host Candidates' Forum to follow up questions. (We didn't invite Rakhi Israni who was reported to make donations to far right Republicans, and Victor Aguilar Jr who didn't return Questionnaire.)
Vote using Ranked Choice voting app with 60% threshold of votes casted by Members in CA-14.
Three candidates: Carin Elam, Matt Ortega and Aisha Wahab took all our pledges. Melissa Hernandez didn't take #1.

Indivisible Tri-Valley endorses Dr Aisha Wahab
Dr Aisha Wahab cleared our required voting threshold 60%, and was endorsed for CA-14 in April. Consequently she was endorsed by Indivisible National with the district support.
She won primaries on June 2 & 16, and the Special Election to fill current term on Aug 18. She was sworn in on Sep 2 as a representative of CA 14th Congressional District.
Re-elect Rep. Aisha Wahab for general election on Nov 3, 2026.
