Join the local Indivisible movement!
Indivisible Tri-Valley was founded in December 2024 as a sister chapter of Livermore Indivisible in the Tri-Valley, is based in Pleasanton, and organizes in Danville, Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon and unincorporated area in Alameda and Contra Costa County.
Vision: We envision an adaptive American democracy, of, by, and for the people, that is powered by collective action, local leadership, and the radical imagination necessary to advance and execute progressive causes.
Mission: To use our local constituent power to advance an agenda that delivers for all, by electing progressive leaders, rebuilding our democracy, and dismantling the authoritarian agenda at every level of government.
A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action.
We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at our event. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to the event.
Indivisible started as the Indivisible Guide, a Google Doc guide to organizing locally to pressure our elected officials to resist Trump’s agenda. It was written by two Congress staffers and their friends after the 2016 election.
Today Indivisible is a nationwide movement of millions of people working to stop the rise of authoritarianism in the United States and to demand a real democracy. We believe that politics is too important to leave up to the politicians – it requires all of us to get on the field.
Our vision is a democracy that delivers for everyone—not just the wealthy or well-connected. We are committed to nonviolent action, multiracial democracy, and a government that is accountable to the people it serves.
Together, we are indivisible.
